Having known Lisa's family for what must be close to 20 years, it really was such a privilege to be asked by Lisa and Jayden to be their photographer. In speaking with Lisa and Jayden, they spoke of keeping their wedding easy and simple, yet everything they did was well thought out, brought a sense of fun, and in some cases was time consuming. Lisa spent tireless hours handmaking paper flowers for the bridal party bouquets, from non-other than her favourite Harry Potter books. There were duck props, family heirlooms, old and new cars and memories of those who had passed. The Dominic College, which means so much to Lisa, provided the lovely chapel where they said 'I do', whist the Bellerive Yacht was the home of the entertainment for the evening. I always judge a good wedding by the speeches at the reception, and Lisa and Jayden's did not disappoint - going from fits of laughter in one moment, to some quiet tears the next. The party really was about to get started, not long after Mr and Mrs Thornton had their first days, out came the headphones for a 'Silent Disco' - simply a magnificent way to dance the night away. xxx
